Riding Bean is an all out action anime. The movie starts out with our "hero" Bean Bandit, who is a mercenary, doing a job driving a getaway car for what seems to be an amateur pair of thieves. It turns out the thieves were actually setting him up to seem like a common kidnapper of a wealthy businessman. Bean then decides to seek revenge and collect the money the thieves recieved for the kidnapping and also kill the thieves for screwing with him, all while trying to avoid a cop who has been trying to catch him for years, and is now obsessed with catching him.
